I have an old sled ...
I have an old sled (1930s) and it probably hasn't been cleaned since it last? hit the slopes decades ago. This video was helpful in that it helped confirm what I suspected. Good ol' water with a little soap. Thanks for the video

I'm with all you ...
I'm with all you others...this guy has no clue what he's doing...if you put goof off on your furniture...you might as well walk on down to my shop and I'll charge a nice amount to? just completely refinish it...might as well at that point...you already crapped it up with the goof off...Pledge is one of the nastiest products on the market for any kind of furniture...use it enough and it will eat away the finish...I've been a refiinisher for over twenty years...don't crap it up people...

im third generation ...
im third generation antique refinisher. .. pledge bad.. def gives a nasty wax build up. we use guardsman CREAM polish. we mix it with water. and every piece that comes through our shop is waxed. but.. some pieces.. such as old chairs? with oil finish... body oils will gum up the finish. so dont rub to hard!

shut? up
shut? up

Pledge is horrible ...
Pledge is horrible to use on furniture! Can't believe you said? it is a good product for furniture! I've restored and refinished for over 20 years and see Pledge only as a liability. Use a good paste wax to protect your finishes...that's all...and just dust and buff it occasionally.

OMG! goof off will ...
OMG! goof off will eat away? the finish!

it would be nice if ...
it would be nice if you showed us? also! Not sure of what motion to use
